We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. You may work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) if preferred.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. Working as a Shift Leader means you will help to serve shoppers better each day, learn new skills, and be part of a diverse team.
Responsibilities
* Work in a fast‑paced retail environment with a variety of tasks.
* Take ownership of duty shifts, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well‑stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
* Provide customer support, listening to shoppers and ensuring they leave satisfied.
* Identify ways to improve service, including coaching colleagues and giving feedback to the team.
* Guide and support colleagues in‑store, ensuring a safe working and shopping environment.
* Maintain a clear understanding of store performance and collaborate with managers to implement improvements.
* Lead by example, setting a great standard for all tasks.
Qualifications
* Be a role model, providing thoughtful customer service that meets every customer’s needs.
* Build strong, inclusive relationships with colleagues, encouraging a positive team atmosphere.
* Communicate clearly, using varied methods to keep the team informed.
* Take the lead and oversee the store in the manager’s absence.
* Make flexible decisions, handling change to ensure customers and colleagues are supported.
* Motivate the team to exceed expectations.
* Stay curious, seeking ideas to better serve customers, communities, and the planet.
* Be at least 18 years old.
