Teaching Personnel are working with a great primary school in the Milnrow area (OL16) that are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. This role involves providing high-quality support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both in class and in small-group or 1:1 settings.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff, the SENCO, and external professionals to help deliver personalised support, enabling all pupils to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the learning and development of pupils with a range of SEND needs.
Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor pupil progress and report observations to the class teacher and SENCO.
Encourage the development of social skills and emotional well-being.
Provide personal care where necessary, in line with school policies.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a relevant Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
Has proven experience working with children with SEND.
Demonstrates empathy, patience, and a calm, positive approach to behaviour management.
Can work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
