Shipping Clerk Manufacturing & Logistics A global manufacturer of control and safety solutions for rotating equipment is seeking a proactive Shipping Clerk to coordinate the dispatch of finished goods. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant shipments both domestically and internationally. Key Responsibilities Prepare shipping documents and certificates for customs clearance. Book collections and generate labels per carrier and regulatory standards. Apply accurate freight charges in ERP systems (e.g., IFS). Track and obtain proof of delivery (POD); support invoicing. Provide shipping quotes and recommend appropriate methods to Customer Service. Liaise with freight forwarders and customer-nominated carriers. Process consolidated shipments and use customer shipping portals. Maintain daily shipping reports and updates. Review commodity codes and assist with trade compliance. Investigate and resolve shipping-related issues; suggest improvements. Support training and cross-training of team members. Follow health, safety, and quality standards; contribute to 5S and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements Experience with shipping systems or ERP software preferred. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a positive, team-focused attitude.
