Seabright Live is excited to recruit a Company Venue Manager for the critically‑acclaimed immersive production ‘Trainspotting Live’, returning to Edinburgh Fringe this summer.

Deadline for applications: Friday 27 March 2026 (We reserve the right to close applications early).
Location: EICC, Morrison Street, Edinburgh (must be based within commutable distance; no accommodation or travel allowances).
Dates: Four‑week contract: 3–30 August 2026. Core working hours during the performance run are 4 pm to 10:30 pm (40 h per week). Additional work required around understudy rehearsal schedules and other ad‑hoc production needs. Days off: 5, 12, 19, 24 August.
Fee/Allowances: £575 per week for four weeks. £208 pay in lieu of holiday due upon completion of engagement.
Role Outline
* Act as link between the CSM, FOH, Box Office and Security.
* Responsible for stock maintenance and preparation of FOH show elements including wristbands, programmes, signage and recorded information.
* Responsible for opening the house and assisting with getting the audience in and the show up on time.
* Work with the CSM on understudy rehearsals, schedules and performances, including watching these where possible.
* Work with other show staff to maintain safe working practices and notify the Head of Production of any concerns providing a safe working environment.
* Assist the CSM with seating set‑up and adaptations for access patrons as may be necessary.
* Work with the CSM to compile and distribute nightly show and FOH reports.
* Learn the CSM track and be able to cover them in case of illness/unavailability.
Personal Qualities
* Experience working within a theatre setting, with an interest in the production process.
* Strong understanding of technical and operational requirements for theatre, preferably with experience of stage management and/or technical show roles.
* Well organised, great communicator; able to interact professionally with venue staff, security, and audience members.
* Working knowledge of theatre health & safety procedures.
* Care‑taking approach to the production, strong problem‑solving skills.
* Flexible and proactive with ability to prioritise and respond to rapidly evolving priorities.
* Strong interest in theatre, with good awareness of industry practice and standards.
* Must already have the right to live and work in the UK.
