Head of Operations – Luxury Estate, North Yorkshire

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Operations to oversee and drive the day-to-day performance of a large, multi-faceted destination business based in Yorkshire.
This is a senior leadership role for an operationally excellent, people-focused professional who can balance commercial performance with purpose, quality, and long-term sustainability.
Reporting into the senior leadership team, the Head of Operations will have responsibility for overseeing multiple operational areas across a complex, guest-facing environment. You will ensure high standards, strong financial control, and seamless collaboration across teams.
You will be a proven Head of Operations, Operations Manager or Senior General Manager, ideally with experience in hospitality, leisure, estates, visitor attractions, or purpose-led destinations.
Responsibilities
* Leading and coordinating operations across hospitality, accommodation, guest experience and estate services
* Driving operational excellence, consistency and continuous improvement
* Managing budgets, forecasting, and cost controls
* Developing operational systems, processes and KPIs
* Leading, coaching and developing department heads and managers
* Ensuring compliance, health & safety, and operational governance
* Supporting strategic projects, growth initiatives and new developments
Requirements
* Strong multi-site or multi-department operational experience
* Excellent commercial and financial understanding
