We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the Petersfield area. You’ll be working in Year 2 providing targeted support to small groups of pupils and occasionally offering 1:1 support for children with additional needs including ASC, ADHD, SEMH and more.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience working in a school setting
* SEND and SEMH knowledge desirable
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A nurturing, positive approach with a passion for supporting children’s learning
* The ability to adapt and respond to individual pupil needs

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and supportive learning experiences
* Work in Year 2
* Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with additional needs
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage children to reach their full potential
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and other staff
* Be actively involved in wider school life, including events and enrichment activities
