Role: Yard Foreman / Machine Operator
Location: Dundee
Rate of Pay: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Yard Foreman / Machine Operator to join our Dundee team. This role will take ownership of the day-to-day running of our busy yard, ensuring materials are processed efficiently while maintaining a safe and organised working environment. The successful candidate will operate heavy plant machinery, oversee material movements, and lead a small team of yard operatives to deliver operational targets.
What Will You Be Doing?
* Supervising and coordinating daily yard activities
* Operating heavy plant machinery, including loading shovels, 360 excavators, and telehandlers
* Maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance
* Organising material movements and managing stockpiles
* Carrying out routine machinery checks and reporting maintenance requirements
* Leading, motivating, and supporting yard operatives to achieve efficiency and productivity goals
What Are We Looking For?
* Experience in a foreman, supervisor, or senior yard operative role
* Skilled in operating heavy plant machinery with relevant tickets
* Strong leadership and communication abilities
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
