Qualifications
Essential criteria
* NMC 1st level registration
* Evidence of degree level qualification in health/nursing related
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of master level study
Experience
Essential criteria
* Minimum of 3 years post registration experience
* 1 year of management/leadership experience
* Deputy ward sister/charge nurse experience within the last 12 months
Desirable criteria
* Formal teaching to groups of staff
* Cardiac cath lab experience
Skills
Essential criteria
* Experience of teaching in clinical areas
* Formal leadership and management training
* Evidence of ongoing professional education in a specialist area
