About The Role
The HR Advisor will be the first point of contact for all HR queries, and provide comprehensive generalist HR advisory and support, with duties including:
* Full cycle management of Employee Relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes, sickness absence, performance improvement and restructuring activity.
* Provide accurate, timely advice to managers and coach them on people management best practice.
* Arrange and coordinate Occupational Health referrals, maintain accurate documentation, update HR systems and liaise with employees and managers to monitor absence and support return-to-work plans.
* Support end-to-end recruitment, including coordinating hiring activity, advising managers, implementing Skills, Education and EDI recruitment and retention initiatives, and ensuring compliance for sponsored workers under UK employment law.
* Work closely with the Training and Competency team to identify employee training needs and support Learning & Development and early careers initiatives.
* Produce HR metrics, data and trend analysis to support decision-making and reporting requirements, including client KPIs for SEE, EDI and community engagement.
* Assist with HR projects such as salary and bonus reviews, organisational change and employee communications.
* Provide administrative support to the HR team as required and complete any other reasonable tasks to support the wider HR function.
Our Ideal Candidate Will
* Be CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent generalist ER/HR experience.
* Have hands‑on experience of managing and conducting Employee Relations meetings.
* Have excellent communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across all levels.
* Have excellent organisational and planning skills to ensure the delivery of a fast‑paced HR service.
* Be up to date with employment law and best practice.
* Be fully proficient with all Microsoft office packages, including extracting and analysing data.
