Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Stratford-upon-Avon for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full or part time with 1 in 4 weekends with time back in lieu. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
The nurse will be joining a team of 2 vets, 1 HVN, 3 RVNs and 1 VCA. The role offers a varying amount of duties which include consultations and ward along with theatre and prep. The practice is equipped with all the usual toys as well as a separate dog and cat ward and isolation ward.

Responsibilities:
3. Assisting in the day to day running of the practice
4. Admissions and discharges
5. Working alongside the non-clinical and clinical team to ensure the smooth delivery of patient and client care
6. Assisting in diagnostics
7. Be responsible and take ownership of tasks
8. Monitoring operations and assisting the vet in surgery
9. Administering medications and taking records accurately
10. Dispensing drugs
11. Inpatient care
12. Nurse clinics
13. Measuring blood pressure, sampling, and pharmacy work
14. Occasional reception cover if required
15. Undertaking CPD
