We have an opening for a talented Sous Chef - someone who loves food, loves produce and loves cooking and creating while inspiring those around them. What You’ll Do Work alongside the Head Chef to run the kitchen Manage day-to-day operations including service, prep and close Lead, train and inspire the kitchen team across all sections Take ownership of ordering, stock control and kitchen standards Contribute to the menu's development and take ownership for sections of the menu Be a role model for The Baker Collective values and food quality Who You Are You’ve been a Senior Chef-de-Partie or Junior Sous in a quality kitchen for at least 3 years You’re a leader with strong people management skills You balance creativity with consistency and organisation You’re ready to step into a Sous Chef role and grow Hours & Time Off 40 - 45 hours a week over 4 - 5 days. 2 days off each week on Mondays and Tuesdays A mix of shifts including 7.30am till 3pm, 9am till 4pm, 4pm till 11pm, 9am till 11pm with a two hour break Closed on 25 & 26 December each year Benefits 28 days’ holiday with extra days for loyalty Free team meals and drinks on shift A voucher worth up to £600 to spend in all The Baker Collective sites with friends and family Paid overtime on salaries Exclusive savings on travel, shopping & experiences 24/7 health and wellbeing program with 24/7 GP Support.
