Business Development Executive (BDE) – Financial Services (Insurance Focus)
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Executive to lead strategic growth and delivery excellence across key Financial Services accounts, with a strong focus on the Insurance sector. This role is pivotal in driving client delight, expanding Capgemini’s solutions portfolio, and building trusted relationships up to the C-suite. The BDE will also oversee financial performance, forecasting, and margin improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own and grow client relationships, including C-level engagement and strategic alignment.
2. Drive account expansion through solution selling across Strategy & Consulting, Digital, Cloud, and Data.
3. Monitor financial performance, provide forecasts, and identify margin improvement opportunities.
4. Lead sales-to-delivery handoffs and ensure seamless transition and execution.
5. Manage demand planning and collaborate with Delivery Executives and recruitment teams.
6. Shape and close deals, lead RFP/RFI responses, and oversee proposal quality and orals.
7. Align Capgemini offerings with client vision and strategy to enable long-term growth.
8. Build and maintain relationships across IT and business functions to become a strategic partner.
9. Maintain cadence with client stakeholders and position Capgemini as partner of choice.
10. Provide feedback and support performance appraisals for the account team.
11. Own and manage alliance relationships and update opportunity status in THOR.
Must-Have Requirements
12. 15+ years of experience in IT and sales, with proven success in business development and account management.
13. Deep familiarity with the Insurance industry, including Retirement Services and Wealth Management.
14. Experience managing global teams and large accounts ($20M+).
15. Strong orientation toward solution selling and cross-service integration.
16. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
