Job Summary:
The Branch Manager oversees the strategic and operational functions of the Southeast Branch, aligning with WH Scott Group UK's goals. Responsibilities include managing staff, business performance, growth initiatives, service quality, and compliance. The role involves leading a team of engineers and an administrator, collaborating with stakeholders to meet financial, operational, and quality targets, with a focus on engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Development
* Develop and implement branch strategies aligned with overall group goals.
* Build relationships with team members, clients, partners, and regulators.
* Identify new business opportunities to promote growth.
* Drive revenue through strategic planning and execution.
2. Operational Management
* Plan and manage daily operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Ensure engineers complete work sheets.
* Maintain effective communication with team and clients to ensure quality service.
* Review branch performance against KPIs and report monthly.
3. Project Management
* Oversee engineering projects from planning to completion.
* Ensure projects meet deadlines, scope, and budget.
* Allocate resources and monitor progress.
* Provide stakeholder updates and implement best practices.
* Manage client onboarding, relationships, and service delivery, including quotations and reports.
4. Compliance Tasks
* Manage health, safety, environment, and quality in line with company policies.
* Ensure staff and customer safety.
* Oversee branch administration, stock control, and contract delivery.
5. Strategic Contributions
* Assess and improve operational procedures.
* Collaborate across branches and units to share best practices.
* Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
