About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking organised, friendly, and proactive Receptionists to support schools across the Huntingdon area. This is an exciting opportunity to become an essential part of a vibrant school community and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily school operations.
As a School Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors. You will provide high-quality administrative support across a variety of tasks, helping to maintain an efficient, welcoming, and professional front office environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming parents, pupils, visitors, and contractors to the school
* Responding to telephone, email, and in-person enquiries
* Supporting attendance procedures and maintaining accurate pupil records
* Providing administrative support to senior leadership teams and teaching staff
* Managing office supplies, filing systems, and general administrative duties
* Assisting with school communications, newsletters, and correspondence
* Supporting admissions, events, and the day-to-day running of the school office
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Friendly, professional, and approachable
* Able to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment
* Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office (training provided where required)
* Experienced in administration or reception roles (school-based experience is desirable but not essential)
* Able to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
