Job Title: Sales Manager: GNFR / Supplies
Our Client has been established for over 30 years and is a merchant distributor of a wide variety of GNFR products, including PPE, janitorial, hygiene, and HORECA products, to a wide range of industry sectors that include medical & healthcare, hospitality, retail and education. They are now offering an outstanding opportunity to grow with the business at the start of a dynamic expansion plan.
They have grown steadily over the years to become national distributors for the majority of big brands in the hospitality sector, as well as supplying products to an impressive list of medical wholesalers, retail outlets, corporate offices, and educational institutes. Increased sales of their existing product range have allowed the client to invest in larger premises and expand the current range of products and territories covered, including overseas.
They have created a new Sales Manager position and are looking for a dynamic sales and people management professional to drive the business forward and recruit additions to the current dedicated sales team.
The successful candidate will ideally be located in or willing to work in the High Wycombe area. They will be based in the main office for the first initial period of employment, with some working from home expected, and in the future beyond the Government’s current regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Successful track record in building and managing a sales team and proven ability to manage people
* Direct experience in a number of the major industry sectors that the company deals with: medical & healthcare, hospitality, retail and education
* Direct experience in selling some or all of the diverse product line of the company
* Background that includes both field sales and direct marketing
* Proven ability to plan and implement sales strategies
* Ability to achieve agreed and set annual targets
* Computer literate with a full UK driving licence
* Team player and good communicator with potential to progress within the company
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills and ability to manage time and diary effectively to achieve set KPI’s
* Comfortable in a fast-moving dynamic environment and flexible to changing demands
