My client is a Higher Education institution in Lincoln who are looking for a permanent Credit Control Officer, they are easily commutable from wider Lincolnshire. Job Description
The Credit Control Officer will be to report to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and provide an effective Accounts Receivable function to all areas of the organisation. The Credit Control Officer's duties include but are not limited to:
3. Controlling and collecting all revenues from various streams within agreed timescales resolving related queries as and when they arise
4. Liaise with debt collection agencies
5. Maintain accuracy of the sales ledger, ensuring all processing and reconciliation activity is carried out
6. Investigate and resolve credit balances in a timely manner
7. General Finance Administration
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will:
8. Have experience working in a busy Credit Control / Accounts Receivable environment
9. Be undertaking their AAT qualifications (or have relevant experience)
10. Have experience using a computerised accounting system
11. Be a competent user of Microsoft Office
12. Be a confident communicator
13. Have a high attention to detail
