Transport Administrator
Felixstowe
£30,000 – £35,000 per annum
I’m currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a busy and well-established transport operation based in Felixstowe. This is a key role within the transport team, responsible for managing a high-volume inbox and ensuring all transport-related activity is actioned accurately and on time.
This position would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised, and understands the importance of attention to detail. Missed or delayed actions can have a direct financial impact, so reliability and efficiency are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and actioning all emails within the transport inbox, ensuring nothing is missed
* Inputting new jobs into TOPS
* Handling customer requests and queries
* Actioning late runners and relaying transport issues to customers promptly
* Supporting the wider transport team with day-to-day administrative tasks
Skills & Experience
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Experience working with Outlook and high-volume inbox management
* Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced role
* Experience using TOPS is ideal, but training can be provided
* Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment would be beneficial
Salary & Benefits
* £30,000 – £35,000 salary
