As Communications Officer, you will provide vital administrative and creative support to UCB's dynamic Marketing team. Your work will focus on two main areas: collecting and sharing impact stories/testimonies, and supporting the administration of Spark (UCB's kids app) as well as helping with wider admin for the Marketing and Communications Team. You'll play a pivotal role in building relationships with supporters and ensuring our communications remain fresh, engaging, and mission-driven and helping UCB to grow both our impact stories programme as well as Spark. Reports to: Marketing Hub Leader Departmental Head: Head of Marketing and Digital Departmental Director: Director of Communications Works closely with: Testimonies Producer and Content Team, Graphic Designers, Social Media Support, Digital Coordinator, Devotionals Coordinator, Wider Communications Team.

* Collaborate with the Testimonies Producer to gather and organise impactful stories from supporters.
* Serve as the primary contact for impact stories, maintaining an up-to-date database of permissions and usage.
* Build relationships with supporters who wish to share their stories, helping to highlight UCB's positive influence.
* Support the production and filming schedule for Spark, including script coordination and general administration to ensure daily delivery of new video devotionals.
* Engage with UCB's online community by responding to comments and interacting regularly on social media platforms.
* Provide general administrative support to the Marketing and wider Communications teams.
* The commitment to participate in regular prayer time in order to promote team unity.
* To be prepared to witness to the life-changing message of Jesus and lead people to Christ, when appropriate.
* To develop ways of introducing UCB's story in a manner that is relevant and engaging.
* To support all of UCB's fundraising activities and events; whether in prayer and/or directly in participation, ensuring sufficient resources are available in order to maximise success.
* High ethical integrity and strong customer focus.
* Team-oriented 'people person' with resilience, flexibility, reliability, initiative, and a positive attitude.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills, with sensitivity and discretion in communication.
* Ability to adapt tone for clear, friendly, and professional interactions.
* Sound judgement in responding appropriately to varied situations. A committed Christian, serving as an Ambassador of Christ and delivering a distinctly Christian service to UCB and its supporters.
