Saturday Pharmacy Delivery Driver

Who we are
We are Bat and Ball Pharmacy, an independently owned Pharmacy business servicing the local Sevenoaks area for over 35 years. We encourage the staff to work collectively and empower them to self-manage the business. We offer every support to ensure all staff have the best tools, support and training to give the best service. In a small business, the successful candidate will play an important role and work with the team in an upbeat energetic personality.
The Role
We are looking for a driver with a clean licence to join our small friendly team. The current delivery hours are Saturday between 9am and 11am.
The successful candidate will a full clean driving licence for at least 6 months and have their own vehicle which is roadworthy, properly taxed, with a valid MOT and insurance.
The successful candidate will collect the prescriptions from the pharmacy, deliver the prescriptions to patients and assist patients with any queries they may have or requests. They will have excellent communication skills and be courteous and efficient at all times. Accuracy and attention to detail is a requirement of the role.
This is a fast-paced environment in which you will be a core member of the pharmacy team, therefore, the ideal candidates will have experience within a busy pharmacy environment and be willing to learn and exhibit excellent team-working skills.
Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Upholding a positive the pharmacy image and providing excellent customer service at all times.
* Managing cash and card transactions effectively in accordance with company procedures.
* Delivering medication safely and securely, avoiding unnecessary risks by adhering to all safety and security procedures.
* Helping the team with the smooth running of the dispensary
* Dealing with queries from patients and GP surgeries

* Pay - £15.00-£16.00p/h (average 10 deliveries per week usually taking no more than 3 hours)

The Pharmacy is open at the following times:
Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 13:00 & 14:00 - 18:00
Saturday: 09:00 - 13:00
Sunday: Closed

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
