What we are looking for in you
We are seeking enthusiastic, honest, and hardworking individuals to join our team in Minehead. We partner with Somerset Council to deliver a contract providing supported accommodation for young people aged 16-24.
You will collaborate with young people to provide support and build professional, positive, and trusting relationships. The role involves modeling, teaching, and encouraging positive behaviors to ensure effective management of independent accommodation and support young people's development and potential.
We are expanding our passionate Young Persons’ Housing team in Somerset and are eager to find people who believe in young people and are motivated to make a meaningful difference in their lives and communities.
Building professional, positive, and trusting relationships is essential to create a supportive environment where young people can progress towards independence and achieve their goals. Our team adopts an asset-based approach to encourage positive progression for all individuals we support. If you're ready to make a real impact and facilitate transformative change, we look forward to your application.
The role requires the ability to work independently, so we seek someone confident and competent in lone working and capable of understanding and managing complex and challenging behaviors appropriately.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and the provision of two suitable references.
