15. Encourage staff engagement and innovation by gathering feedback and implementing practical improvements
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Operations or Production Manager with a proven track record of leading teams in a manufacturing or engineering environment — ideally within motorsport, automotive, aerospace, or electronics. You are a people-focused leader who thrives on developing talent, improving processes, and building a positive, high-performance culture. You’ll bring strong experience in production planning, workflow optimisation, and lean manufacturing, with the ability to balance quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. You’re confident working on the shop floor, building relationships with technicians, and being a visible, approachable presence for your team.
A degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable, but equivalent hands-on experience is highly valued. Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems, production KPIs, and Microsoft Office is essential. You’ll be proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to communicate clearly with stakeholders at every level — from technicians to senior management — keeping everyone aligned and focused on delivering exceptional results.
