Administration Assistant, Doncaster We have a great opportunity to join our Environment and Safety Division as an Administration Assistant. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Administration Assistant to join to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are looking for a reliable, flexible and committed Administration Assistant to join our Environmental team. It is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): Assisting technical staff with the preparation, formatting and issuing of reports to ensure deadlines are achieved Entry and formatting of technical data into reports Checking and updating calibration status of equipment Monitoring and updating spreadsheets used to track job progress Liaise with contractors and clients on site Scheduling of works To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: Experience in some, or all, of the tasks listed above, or a willingness to be trained A can do attitude A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent organisation and time management skills to be able to work to set deadlines Be self-motivated and able to work alone and as part of a team in a busy environment Excellent communication skills About Environmental: Our Environmental team is made up of many different specialists all operating within different areas of expertise. The main areas we cover are Environmental Monitoring and Consultancy together with specialist laboratories to support our services. Our services range from on-site monitoring and sample collection, ranging from local businesses to large Government contracts, to consultancy works on large contaminated land projects, complimented with onsite works for dust, noise, and local exhaust emissions.
