A lovely nursery inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and Montessori pedagogy. Recently opened and in the early stages of expansion, the nursery boasts a supportive team passionate about children's development. The environment is designed to inspire independence and curiosity, with a child-centred curriculum that fosters development and individual interests.
Your Role
We are seeking a qualified early years teacher for our pre-school room in Hove. Responsibilities include:
* Supporting and promoting children’s early education and development
* Planning and providing effective care
* Teaching and learning to prepare children for school
* Making accurate and productive use of assessment
* Developing effective and informed practice
* Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety, and welfare of children
* Working in partnership with colleagues, parents, and other professionals
Requirements
* Early Years Teacher Status or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
* At least 1 year of experience in a nursery setting
* Experience planning curriculum and activities for pre-school children
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education
* All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check
