The Client - The highly credible Northern Ireland Ambulance Service holds a number of administrative and clerical positions throughout their various sites at various levels (Band 2 - Band 5). This particular Band 3 HR/OD Assistant offers strong experience that will be beneficial and transferable should wider opportunities arise.
The Role - Initially 6 months+ temporary contract with reviewal for extension:
1. The postholder will be a key member of the Workforce Directorate and will contribute to the achievement of the overall Directorate's performance objectives.
2. Provide high-quality communication and administrative services to support the delivery of a proactive, responsive and professional HR service to internal and external stakeholders.
3. Provide dedicated administrative support to one or more of the following function - Pay & Conditions
4. Deliver across a range of administrative tasks and duties.
The Person - Essential Criteria:
Have 5 GCSE's (Grade A-C) to include English Language or equivalent qualification plus 1 year's administrative / customer service experience at Band 2 or equivalent;
OR
NVQ level 2 in Administration / Customer Service plus GCSE Grade A-C English Language or equivalent qualification plus 1 year's administrative / customer service experience at Band 2 or equivalent;
5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new systems and maintain accurate digital records
6. Strong communication and organisational skills
