We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (Contact Centre OR SaaS) to join a fantastic, well-established business based in Glasgow, Scotland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating appointments at director level for themselves and the BD team to convert. They should be target-driven, bright, confident, and have a keen interest in technology.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Target the right new clients for the Contact Centre business.
2. Follow up on internal and external leads to convert inquiries into appointments.
3. Work towards set Business Development KPIs.
4. Provide first-class customer service to potential new customers and portray the company positively at all times.
5. Develop B2B pipeline by engaging new prospective customers.
6. Manage the sales pipeline effectively.
7. Work towards business targets.
8. Ensure a great customer experience, including the customer journey and onboarding process.
Key Skills Required:
1. Excellent client engagement and development skills.
2. Experience in high-volume outbound calling approaching new logos.
3. Proven sales experience within a target-driven environment.
4. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workflow to meet sales objectives.
5. Consistently work towards and exceed expectations and targets.
6. Exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging clients, business owners, and colleagues.
7. Ability to use initiative to manage performance and understand BD KPIs.
8. Experience in B2B business pipeline development.
9. Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
10. Excellent rapport-building abilities.
11. Highly motivated with the ability to work to targets.
