This full-time role will begin in September 2025 and run until at least the Christmas break, with full teacher responsibilities expected throughout the assignment. About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a school that values both academic progress and student wellbeing. You will play a key role in delivering a broad and engaging RE curriculum while supporting students in their understanding of diverse beliefs and ethical viewpoints. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and inclusive RE lessons that promote critical thinking and empathy. Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum standards. Maintain a positive and structured learning environment. Take full classroom responsibility including marking, reporting, and attending department meetings. Support students with varied learning needs and abilities. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Religious Education or a related field. Experience teaching RE at secondary level, ideally across KS3 and KS4. A strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills. A flexible and resilient approach to teaching in a supply context. A positive, empathetic, and student-centred teaching style.
