The Nursing Support Worker contributes to the patients' recovery pathway in a number of key ways. They provide the patients with role modelling as regards effective and reciprocal communication and relationships. Multi disciplinary assessments and mutually agreed Care and Treatment Plans rely heavily on information gained via the direct patient contact that the Nursing Support Workers provide.
