We are looking for a driven MEICA Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of mechanical, electrical and civil engineering projects across the water and wastewater sector. In this role, you'll provide essential technical expertise, coordinate engineering activities, and ensure project requirements are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You'll take ownership of engineering documentation, support design development, collaborate with clients and suppliers, and work closely with installation and site teams to keep projects moving smoothly from planning through to commissioning and handover.

We're seeking someone who brings solid technical knowledge, strong coordination skills, and hands-on experience within the water industry. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and be committed to delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality engineering solutions.
Experience & Knowledge
2+ years' experience in the water industry.
Technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or civil engineering systems.
Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes, pumping systems, pipelines, and WIMES/client standards.
Familiarity with construction, commissioning, and handover processes.Skills & Attributes
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Strong coordination abilities across design, construction, and commissioning activities.
Understanding of project planning, risk management, and contract administration.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and teamwork approach.Essential Qualifications
Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Proven engineering experience in water, utilities, or heavy engineering.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation systems.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.Desirable Qualifications
Experience across multiple engineering disciplines.
EUSR Water Hygiene and/or confined space training.
Knowledge of project planning tools (MS Project, Primavera).
Understanding of CDM Regulations and construction management.
Experience supporting commissioning and testing activities.
