Regional Business Manager
£55,000 + Car + Commission Structure

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the most respected component manufacturers in Europe, as they continue their aggressive growth strategy across the UK. My client is hiring Regional Business Managers to cover several strategically important territories – South East (Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire & Norfolk).
These are key hires overseeing one of the highest performing territories within the business. If you're motivated by building relationships, solving technical problems, and nurturing accounts, this is your platform.
The Role
You’ll be representing a range of either electronic and electro-mechanical components. These are highly respected, technical solutions used by engineers in design across OEM and end-user sectors — from EV and audio to industrial, manufacturing, medical, and marine.
This is not a transactional sales role. You'll be supporting longer sales cycles, working with design engineers (75%), buyers and lab managers to get your product designed-in, managing the project lifecycle, and ultimately securing the sale indirectly. Think strategic rather than fast-paced — your satisfaction comes from owning a project over months, not weeks. This role will inherit a warm portfolio of trading clients that you will seek to develop whilst identifying, targeting and winning new business.
The Person
You’ll be:
* Field-based, proactive and comfortable with project-led sales
* A credible communicator with experience selling technical products
* Comfortable selling to engineering and technical stakeholders
* Happy to manage smaller value accounts, often low volume but high margin
* Organised and analytical, with the patience and curiosity to learn technical details over time
You might come from electronic components, industrial sales, distribution or OEM sales, or have experience selling anything technical — it’s about mindset and approach, not just product knowledge.
What’s on Offer
* £50,000–£55,000 base salary depending on experience
* Commission scheme – expected £65,000-£70,000 year one
