Key Responsibilities
* Lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards
* Support the Head of Manufacturing to run the Manufacturing workshop.
* Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
* Manage resources effectively, including people, equipment and budgets, to meet delivery targets
* Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and quality across the shop floor
* Coach, mentor and develop production teams to achieve operational excellence
Requirements
* Proven experience in a Manufacturing leadership role.
* Strong background working in Welding, Fabrication and Assembly environments.
* Degree or HNC qualified in Engineering discipline
* Lean Six Sigma certified.
* Eligibility to undergo SC Clearance.
Location: Chorley

Salary: £60k - £65k
Working Hours: 4 day working week! Monday – Thursday, Full Time.
