Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Opportunity – London
Are you currently working as a Quantity Surveyor, looking for the opportunity to get into the highly lucrative fast growing Data Centre sector?

They are currently looking to recruit a Quantity surveyor to join their site based team on a large scale Data Centre Project in London, they have requirements at both QS and Senior QS level so if you are a project or Senior Quantity surveyor please get in touch.
Quantity Surveyor Role Responsibilities:
* Track Project Deliverables and ensure commercial systems, budgets and cost control procedures are utilised.
* Work closely with the commercial team to drive successful deliver of projects from commercial perspective.
* Indepth reviews of all contract and tender documentation, ensuring risk is mitigated.
* Continuous monitoring of the project from a commercial aspect, ensuring budgets are adhered to.
* Regular reporting on project commercial status.
* Ensure the wider project team understanding of commercial requirements to meet client expectations.
* Report on cost v estimates and identifying reasons for variance, advise on resolutions.
* Review and approve selected contractors and suppliers.
About you:
* A degree in quantity surveying or equivalent.
* Ideally a minimum of 5 years experience within quantity surveying.
* Capable of developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
* A good understanding of Fidic, JCT or both.
* Comfortable in a client facing position and negotiating with the client as needed.
* The ability to develop client relationships on site.
* You will need to be located in the London area and able to attend site to be considered for this position.
