Pure Staff are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our trusted client in Rugby – delivering potatoes to chip shops across the UK. This is a temporary-to-ongoing role with consistent work, great pay, and a supportive team.
* £18.00 per hour + holiday pay
* Regular start times between 05:00 – 06:00
* 5-7 drops per day with a driver’s mate
* Free on-site parking
* 10-12 hour shifts – consistent hours
* Perks & discounts scheme after first payment (electronics, travel, clothing, and more)
The role
* Delivering sacks of potatoes (up to 25kg) using a sack truck
* Working in a two-man team (driver & mate)
* 5-7 deliveries daily to businesses and chip shops
* Some central London work required
* Keep in contact with depot & customers to ensure smooth operations
* Follow all safety & driving regulations
What we’re looking for
* Valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC & tachograph card
* No minimum experience – new pass drivers welcome
* Must have driven a Class 2 in the last 3 months
* No more than 9 penalty points
* Physically fit and happy with heavy handball
* Positive attitude, flexibility & good communication skills
