PartTime/ Full Time Living History Interpreter
Murton Park is looking for a Part Time/ Full Time Living History Interpreter
The role
* To deliver all aspects of our school living history learning programme on site, in schools and online. Working individually, remotely or as part of a team, to act as support or lead character. Actively develop and maintain a good level of appropriate subject knowledge. Care for and maintain props, materials and costumes to ensure a high standard of presentation.
* High levels of record-keeping required.
* To undertake the delivery of the museum learning and engagement programme for the public and museum visitors. Within and out of season.
* To work on Reception/Front of House as required
* To undertake other duties when required to support the maintenance/upkeep of the site
* To assist the site with the holiday programme as required
* Offsite work may be required (education outreach program within schools)
The person
* Clean Driving Licence required
* Willingness to work remotely
* Educated to Graduate/Post Graduate level/Teaching qualification
* Good level of subject knowledge
* Enhanced DBS disclosure
* Uphold staff / site policies where required
* A team player with a can-do attitude
Rate of pay: £12.35/hr
Hours: a typical day is 8.30am-4.30pm
