We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join the Community Perinatal Mental Health teams in SLAM. You will be part of a supportive team of perinatal psychologists and psychotherapists, supporting psychological therapies primarily based in Southwark but also working across other SLAM perinatal teams (Lambeth, Lewisham, Croydon).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist practitioner psychologists and psychotherapists in delivering a specialist perinatal service across Croydon, Lewisham, Southwark, and Lambeth.
2. Provide clinical support under supervision, including assessments, interventions, and group work.
3. Support the development of clinical materials, training, and service user engagement initiatives.
4. Contribute to team functioning through registration of referrals, database management, and training support.
5. Participate in policy adherence, service development, and resource management.
6. Support research, audits, and data analysis to inform service improvements.
7. Maintain professional standards through supervision and CPD activities.
8. Travel to various locations for home visits, meetings, and training as needed.
