Exam Invigilators – Casual Work (Part-Time)

We are currently recruiting reliable and detail-oriented Exam Invigilators on behalf of a well-regarded school in the Liskeard area. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideally suited to individuals looking for ad hoc work throughout the school year, particularly during the main summer exam period (May–June).
🎓 The Role:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and smooth running of internal and external examinations. You’ll ensure that exam conditions are upheld, provide guidance to students where appropriate, and handle incidents calmly and professionally.
🧩 Key Responsibilities:
Set up exam rooms in accordance with exam regulations
Distribute and collect exam materials securely
Supervise students throughout the duration of exams
Ensure exam regulations and school procedures are followed
Report any irregularities or concerns promptly
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Excellent timekeeping and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm, professional, and discreet under pressure
Confidence to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexible availability, particularly during May–June
Previous experience is not required – full training will be provided
You must have the right to work in the UK – visa sponsorship is not available
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference screening
