Senior Executive - Operational Support at Cancer Research UK (CRUK)
Salary: £29,175 plus benefits

Hours: Full time 35 hours per week
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire – office-based with high flexibility (1‑2 days per week in the office). From 31st March 2026 this role will become home‑based for business reasons.

What will I be doing?
* Analysing and interpreting reports and dashboards to monitor peaks and troughs, understand trends and inform decision making on work allocation and prioritisation.
* Delivering quality monitoring and coaching to each member of the Operational Support team.
* Providing day‑to‑day second level support on technical knowledge, product knowledge, competencies and skills across all workstreams of Operational Support.
* Obtaining forecasts and compiling rotas to ensure all workstreams in Operational Support have sufficient resource to achieve agreed SLA’s.
* Maintaining Operational Support training records.
* Dealing with escalated queries from both the team and stakeholders.
What are we looking for?
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain relationships and communicate across a wide‑ranging audience.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, with a confident approach to finding solutions through analysis and presentation of findings in a simple & effective way.
* Experience of delivering coaching and feedback to team members.
* Experience of monitoring performance and implementing and managing SLA’s & KPI’s.
* Experience of compiling and interpreting reports and analysing data.
* Ability to learn new systems and to cascade information to the wider team.
