Salary:
Up to £53,200 FTE, based on experience
Hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 08:30 am – 16:30 pm
Contract:
Permanent (term‑time only, or flexibility around a full‑time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)
Responsibilities:
* Deliver bespoke occupational therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have socio‑emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
* Work within the standards provided in the OFGO Occupational Therapy Ways of Working.
* Hold an occupational therapy caseload, supported by the designated clinical supervisor and site lead.
* Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
* Collaborate with the education team to deliver high‑quality provision.
Essential Criteria:
* BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
* Valid and up to date HCPC registration
* Registered member of RCOT
* Relevant experience in providing occupational therapy services within a similar setting (preferred)
* Previous engagement with neuro‑divergent and/or learning difficulty and/or SEMH populations, with evidence of transferable skills
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to support independence
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality (preferred)
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently
* Clear and concise report‑writing skills
* Full UK driving licence with access to a car (or own vehicle)
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI practitioner training in progress or completed is preferable, not essential)
