Summary: This role will focus on technical document transfer and rebranding of existing product documentation, ensuring all materials are updated and released through the company's document control systems.
Key Responsibilities: Revise and rebrand existing product documentation. Support technical document transfer activities. Prepare documentation for release within the SAP document control system. Ensure documentation follows structured content standards and simplified technical English to enable multi-language translation. Work closely with engineering, technical, and documentation teams. Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and estimate timelines. Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with company branding.
Required Skills & Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to write using Simplified Technical English. Hands-on experience with Adobe FrameMaker (including graphics handling and multi-chapter book creation).
Good knowledge of: o Microsoft Word o XMLo Content Models
Understanding of:o Content reuseo Content Management Systemso Computer-aided translation tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong time management and ability to manage multiple priorities. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Engineering/Technology background preferred).
