Accounts Assistant
1 month contract - Holiday cover (June to July)
Brierley Hill
Working hours: from 7.30am to 9am start, latest finish at 5pm
Hourly rate: GBP 12.21 (depending on experience)
Our client based in Brierley Hill is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team for one month to cover an employee's annual leave. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Posting Sales Ledger receipts to customer accounts from bank statements into SAP.
2. Using customer remittances when required.
3. Emailing sales invoices and credit notes as available.
4. Issuing customer statements at month-end if required.
5. Supporting credit control by emailing customer accounts payable departments.
6. Chasing outstanding and overdue customer accounts via email.
7. Posting purchase invoices and credits onto SAP.
8. Posting purchase ledger payments from the payments list onto SAP.
9. Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
10. Performing ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
