Field Service Engineer
Location: Preferable to be based around the M25 (Nationwide travel required)
About the Role
We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join our client, a leading provider of commercial and industrial heating solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of skilled engineers delivering exceptional service to a wide customer base across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and breakdown support for customer heating appliances.
* Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
* Participate in a 24/7 call-out rota.
* Install manufactured heating equipment.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures on-site.
* Complete job reporting and manage associated paperwork.
* Provide technical assistance and training to customers.
* Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
* Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and customer support teams.
* Offer remote technical support when required.
What you will bring to the role:
* Gas Safe qualifications: COCN1, CCP1, CIGA1, TCP1, TCP1A.
* BOAS and BG01 certifications.
* Industry qualifications: HND/ONC or equivalent NVQ/C&G.
* Preferred: Experience with steam boilers and water level controls.
* Preferred: Electrically qualified with 18th Edition.
* Competent in electrical fault finding and boiler controls.
* Skilled in pipework installation (steel, copper, plastic).
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
* Ability to work independently in unfamiliar environments and as part of a team.
* Willingness to join emergency call-out rota and work away from home.
* Full UK driving licence
