T HE ROLE: This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join us as an Procurement and Contracts Manager, expanding our team and becoming an integral part of our company’s vision for future growth. As a Procurement and Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for: · Analysing, understanding, and complying with strict tender requirements, terms and conditions, and deadlines. Reading and comparing technical specifications, identifying suppliers, obtaining, and evaluating quotations. Preparing and submitting tender and bid packages for the United Nations, World Bank, European Union. Efficiently project managing the implementation of any resulting contract on an end-to-end basis. All our work is secured through international competitive tendering processes, and the role will provide scope to learn and develop skill sets and abilities in numerous functions; including sourcing, bid management, procurement, logistics, and project/contract management. REQUIREMENTS: A winning positive mentality, determined, organised, patient, and perseverant - above all, you will need to submit and win tenders! Confident with good verbal and written communication skills. Experience with MS 365 suite. Good numerical skills, analytical and logically minded. Value and cost-conscious, with the ability to negotiate with suppliers. A self-starter with an ability to work to strict deadlines and manage time under pressure. Commercial experience within an international business environment is beneficial but not compulsory. English is our primary working language; in addition, fluency in Spanish language is also required. You will be expected to work both individually and within a team environment.
