As a Dental Hygienist for Community Health Center, you will:
* Provide education and dental hygiene to adults and children
* Work with a flexible schedule (Part Time 35 hrs/week)
* Possess a strong interest in the community health population
* Have a commitment to preventative dental care
* Evaluate overall oral health
* Work in a friendly, team atmosphere
* Other related and relevant tasks or projects may be assigned
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must:
* Be a graduate of an accredited Dental Hygienist program
* Current State of CT licensure
* 2+ years Dental Hygienist experience
* Knowledge of patient screening, charting, and medical history procedures and documentation
* Ability to perform a full range of established dental hygienist protocol and procedures
* Knowledge and understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and techniques
* Ability to set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation
