Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to support the Country Manager and local Executive Management Team, offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.
In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring budget planning and the Company's full compliance with local legal, statutory and tax requirements & regulations.
The role is office based therefore you will need to be able to commute to the Bracknelloffice five days a week.
Your Impact
* Support the business to increase local EBIT and FCF
* Perform scouting activities to identify potential new Financial Services partners and supervise their activities (e.g., compliance with SLAs, etc.)
* Detect company risks & opportunities, preparing and supporting the corrective action plan
* Conduct periodic alignment meeting with Financial Services partners and Financial Services Managers in HQ regarding risk issues
* Lead organizational effectiveness by maximizing performance, people development and engagement
* Ensure the reliability, quality and timing of statutory and management reporting and budget processes
* Carry out credit control and collection, stock management and cash flow management (trade working capital)
* Collect, report and monitor local KA agreements
* Ensure the consistency and implementation of the control model across every transaction
* Ensure that the IT system fully covers business processes
* Disseminate financial knowledge and use of corporate reporting tools such as ERP, Business Objects, purchase requisitions, etc. at country level
* Implement Company Policies on Finance, Administration, Credit, etc.
* Ensure compliance with local legislation and corporate governance policies; ensure protection of corporate assets
* Carry out local tax filling and fulfill local fiscal and statutory requirements
* Ensure full local legal and tax compliance
About You
Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical.
What you should bring:
* 8+ years' significant previous experience as a Finance Manager/Controller Manager in multinational companies
* CIMA/ACCA qualifications would be advatageous
* Knowledge of International Accounting Standards
* Experience in financial solutions management
* Experience in credit management
* Knowledge of tax planning
* Experience in budgeting and forecasting, P&L and BS analysis
* Knowledge of ERP systems
* Strong leadership which inspires your coworkers and customers
* Excellent people management, with a high degree of empathy
