We at Interaction Recruitment are working with an exciting business throughout the UK.
Covering Monday to Friday with extra days if you want.
6am or 7am start for a 10 hour day, dependant on site allocation.
As a mechanic, you'll safely prepare customers cars for collection. If you care about detail and take pride in doing the job right first time and want to be part of a capable, motivated team who feel the same way. You'll get the chance to work on an incredible range of manufacturers and models.
Essential skills
1. A certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 2 or 3 and a solid work experience in the automotive industry
2. The ability to work in a competent and efficient manner on your own or part of a busy team
3. Strong communication skills
4. Good attention to detail
5. The ability to carry out work to high standards and to deadlines
6. A proactive and enthusiastic approach
7. The ability to accurately follow written and spoken instructions
8. A full driving licence
Day-to-day duties
9. Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards
10. Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment
11. Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts,
12. Road testing vehicles to check repairs
13. Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition.
14. Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed
15. Completing all documentation to the required standard
£175.00 to £ 250.00 Day Rate DOE
