Job Description
Our client is an independently owned small group seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team at a busy branch clinic located in Worthing. This is a full-time position with a 4-day working week, consisting of 10-hour shifts (various shift times between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm), totaling 40 hours per week. The role includes an equal rota for emergency care (1 in 6 weekends and bank holidays) with 2 days off in lieu for any weekends worked. The practice is open to considering part-time applicants and is flexible regarding working hours.
The practice provides exceptional, personalised continuity of care to its patients in a warm, welcoming environment. The team values inclusivity and collaboration, ensuring everyone is respected and valued. With a focus on community care, this practice combines clinical freedom with a commitment to delivering high-quality veterinary services with a personal touch.
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for delivering first-class care, performing diagnostics, and creating treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient. The role also includes contributing to the practice’s collaborative approach to care and supporting other team members. An interest in developing leadership skills or achieving a certificate will be highly supported.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) with practical experience in veterinary medicine and diagnostics. Advanced Practitioner status or an interest in obtaining a certificate would be an advantage. The practice is committed to developing vets and enhancing their skills, especially those with a passion for community veterinary care.
