Are you a CNC Machinist who has recently completed an apprenticeship?

This company have been established for over 70 years and are looking to expand their team by bringing in a CNC machinist to help manage their workload. They have a hands on management team, who will train you on the job in this friendly and supportive team.
This role provides the opportunity to progress within the business and develop your skillset along the way. You will be learning offline programming and specific training on precision machines. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the CNC machining process and ability to read technical drawings.
This role would suit a CNC machinist looking to join a company who provide opportunities for career progression and training to develop your skills.
The Role:
Operate a range of CNC machines to produce precision components
Interpret technical drawings and manufacture to specification
Undergo training on specialist equipment and develop skillset on the job
Fully on-site, Monday to Friday in the workshop
Responsible for quality control of the machined components
Breakdown diagnosis and fault finding on machines where needed
The Person:
Completed an apprenticeship in CNC or Manual machining
Experience in a CNC Operator role
Full UK driving licence
