Team Manager, Wandsworth OP CMHT
A role to provide operational leadership and management for the team on a permanent basis, reporting directly to the Clinical Manager of the service.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate mental health referrals and lead day‑to‑day problem solving and navigation within the service and at interfaces with other services and external organisations.
* Co‑ordinate and lead the four sub‑teams (BACSS, CBACSS, MAS, RST) within the CMHT.
* Monitor and supervise clinicians’ caseloads using IT systems, ensuring services meet national targets and local KPIs.
* Work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure high quality service delivery.
* Maintain operational policy, support and consult staff (excluding doctors) and ensure medically qualified team members adhere to policies.
* Collect and report performance information on required timescales.
* Manage intake, allocation, caseloads and clinical review processes.
* Manage staff disciplinary and sickness absence arrangements in coordination with the Clinical Manager and discipline heads.
* Facilitate regular coordination meetings and promote effective multidisciplinary teamwork.
