Key Responsibilities of the Head of PE:
* Lead and manage the PE department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
* Develop and deliver an engaging PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness and teamwork.
* Organise extracurricular sports activities and events to enrich student experience.
* Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.
Requirements for the Head of PE role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Proven experience teaching PE and leading a department or team.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* A passion for promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing among young people.
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
