You will be instrumental in maintaining and supporting the Temporary Staffing Service within Croydon Health Services NHS Trust.
You will need to be highly efficient at organising your workload, prioritising appropriately, setting and managing clear expectations. You will have proven experience in a temporary staffing environment that will support you in delivering this new service and achieving engagement and active participation from all stakeholders.

Main duties of the job
You will support the Temporary Staffing Team in the delivery of high-quality, effective Temporary Staffing service, ensuring that the temporary staffing requirements of the Trust are met in the most cost-efficient manner.
You will support and line manage the Temporary Staffing Advisors and ensure that they are able to provide cost effective and suitable temporary staffing solutions to the trust as required. You will build, develop, implement and maintain processes and procedures in-line with service demands and supply a temporary staffing service that is suitable to meet the developing needs of the trust.
You will ensure the service provides value for money and supports a reduction of organisational expenditure on bank and agency workers, through effective negotiation with agencies, and supporting an increased use of bank and substantive staff. And will support the development of controls and processes for the management of agency and locum spend, to include developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
You will support with the development of an internal bank including sourcing candidates and carrying out recruitment checks so that we can achieve value for money on all temporary staffing engagements.
You will deputise for the Temporary Staffing Operational Lead and provide cross-cover across all areas of the Temporary Staffing Service where required.
