We're looking for a reliable and compassionate Out of Hours On-Call Handler to support our care teams and clients outside of normal office hours. About the Role: As our Out of Hours On-Call Handler, you’ll be the first point of contact for care staff and clients needing urgent support during evenings and weekends. You won’t be required to deliver care yourself – your role is to coordinate, support and communicate effectively to ensure safe and responsive service continuity. Your responsibilities will include: Taking calls from staff and clients between: Weekdays: 17:00 – 09:00 Weekends: Friday 17:00 – Monday 09:00 Giving advice around medication and emergency protocols Contacting clients if carers are delayed Coordinating carers for emergency cover if needed (standby cover will be arranged in advance for evenings and weekends) Logging incidents and escalating issues appropriately Working Pattern: One week on, one week off (Could be some variation to this for the right candidate) Remote working – handle calls from the comfort of your own home Option to work on a contracted salaried basis or casual worker agreement, based on your preference Why Work With Us?
